About me
Rose Smith is a Stream Ecologist leading the Riverscape Restoration program at Sageland Collaborative. She works with diverse partners to implement and conduct research on low-tech restoration practices across the western United States. Rose brings experience in ecosystem ecology, urban planning, hydrology, spatial analysis methods, and watershed-scale restoration practices to the program. Rose has a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Maryland and has previously served as a faculty member at the University of Utah.
