About me
As a child, Keilani told her family she wanted to be a tiger when she grew up. Working at a zoo is the closest she will get to that dream. Her appreciation for animals and natural systems led her to study environmental science and sustainability at the University of Utah. This similarly led her to Hogle Zoo’s conservation internship which allowed her to realize a new, more attainable, dream. That is working full-time to study and protect Utah native species, the environments they inhabit, and engage others to do the same.
